We are excited to offer licensed veterinarians an introduction to medicolegal investigations and forensic case management through one-on-one training. The AVFSC was the first forensic laboratory in the US dedicated to animal cruelty casework involving companion animals.

Mentorship

Our diverse team composed of 4 forensic veterinarians, 2 crime scene analysists, and 1 forensic veterinary technician will empower you to prevent and respond to animal cruelty within your community.

Intro to Medicolegal Investigations

Since veterinary forensics is not routinely included within the veterinary curriculum, this program is designed to provide veterinarians with these the necessary skills.
