Director of Medical Operations
Kauai Humane Society is looking for a self-motivated veterinarian skilled in managing a diverse team of professionals and providing high quality medical care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must demonstrate an aptitude in shelter medicine and surgical proficiency. The position provides prompt and quality veterinary services to all animals within KHS’s care and at public clinics. The Director of Medical Operations will act as lead shelter veterinarian and provide direct oversight to shelter medical operations and medical staffing, as well as establish relationships within the veterinary community. This position reports to the Executive Director. This position comes with benefits including health insurance and a 401K. The schedule is 4-day, ten hour shifts, so you can enjoy the beautiful island of Kaua’i. Kaua’i offers more than beautiful beaches, it has wonderful hiking opportunities, waterfalls, an abundance of local produce, and all the amenities one may require. Director of Clinic Services
The Director of Clinic Services leads a high performing team of veterinarians, medical support staff and volunteers dedicated to providing underserved communities access to high quality veterinary care. The Director organizes, plans, manages, and oversees all aspects of the Clinic Services operation ensuring productivity, licensing, regulatory compliance, quality of care, equipment maintenance, and strategic goals are met in the state-of the-art, spay neuter and wellness clinic. The Director ensures HSC provides accessible and high-quality veterinary care to under-served communities in Charlotte working in-line with HSC annual budget and in cooperation with other agency programs and departments.
