SHELTER RELIEF VET
Animal Care of Davis County is a socially conscious municipal shelter dedicated to providing sheltering, placement, and prevention services to reduce animal homelessness and unnecessary euthanasia. We’re looking for veterinarian candidates with a special desire to help shelter animals. Our Shelter Veterinarians provide examinations, rabies vaccinations and minor in-house surgeries for shelter animals. The schedule is incredibly flexible - you name your hours, dates and times. NO EMERGENCIES OR ON-CALL DUTIES! NO PUBLIC-FACING DUTIES! Job Type: Contract Pay: $90.00 per hour
Director of Clinic Services
The Director of Clinic Services is a member of the leadership team, working closely with the COO to contribute to HSC as it provides accessible and high-quality veterinary care to under-served communities in Charlotte working in-line with HSC annual budget and in cooperation with other agency programs and departments. The Director organizes, plans, manages, and oversees all aspects of the Clinic Services operation ensuring productivity, licensing, regulatory compliance, quality of care, equipment maintenance, and strategic goals are met in the state-of the-art, spay neuter and wellness clinic.
Registered Veterinary Technician
As a Registered Veterinary Technician on our Clinic Services team, you will be a leader on our staff, motivating and energizing the veterinary medical team to meet department goals. You will act as a mentor and coach, sharing your expertise with your fellow team members while completing the daily duties of preparation and recovery of animals admitted for surgery.
Clinic Services Practice Manager
This position plays an integral role in the well-being of our community's companion animals. This role will manage our medical staff and be the key driving force in delivering productivity and customer success. The Practice Manager directs clinic day-to-day operations, manages and offers insight into available resources, and ensures financial goals are attained through daily practice and innovative ideas. The Practice Manager will be the leader in instilling our responsibility to the community, to provide affordable and attainable veterinary services for the pets of people who may be facing significant barriers to accessible care.
