Community Clinic Veterinarian
Humane Society MASH Clinic provides low-cost spay and neuter services, vaccines, wellness exams, where they are needed most. Our clinic is moving into a brand new stationary location in Belfair Wa. Our clinic model has been providing services MASH style, via pop up clinics around our county. With our new building location we will be primarily stationary but will still offer occasional clinics in our rural areas and local reservations. Our clinic location also provides the medical care for all of the animals in our foster program.

Job Summary Hiring Incentive:$30k hiring incentive ($15k upon starting and $7.5k on completion of each year of first 2 consecutive years of employment). Performs examinations on animals brought into the animal care facility; ensures incoming animals receive appropriate vaccinations and preventative medicine; performs spay and neuter surgeries; and performs medically necessary surgeries. Evaluates and assigns animals for treatment or medically required euthanasia to prevent suffering. Exercises technical supervision over assigned staff. This position is an "unclassified" position and has no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. This position is likewise subject to at-will employment status and can be terminated at any time for any reason.
