The Veterinary Surgeon, under the direction of the Clinic Medical Director, provides surgical services to the animals in the shelter and the public clinic. The veterinary team works together along with Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants and Clinic Managers in a team effort to provide Best Care for all patients. In-house laboratory equipment, digital dental and full-body radiography, an electrosurgical unit, and dental equipment are some of the tools available. Professional memberships, retirement benefits and continuing education are all included in the benefits for this position. Full-time is available as well as part-time positions with flexible schedules and benefits. The Veterinary Surgeon is not required to work weekends or holidays.
