BrightSide Animal Center (BrightSide) is a high-save shelter dedicated to providing sheltering, placement, and prevention services to reduce animal homelessness and unnecessary euthanasia. As an independent, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, BrightSide has been helping people and animals in Central Oregon for over 30 years. Located in Redmond, Oregon, BrightSide serves northern Deschutes County including the cities of Redmond, Terrebonne, Sisters, Tumalo, and Bend. Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center is a private, nonprofit, open admission shelter located in Douglas County, Oregon. We are a private 501c3 nonprofit and we hold a contract with our County to provide animal sheltering services. We serve approximately 4,000 animals annually, providing adoption, return to home, return to field, public spay/neuter services, temporary boarding and more. Director of Veterinary Services (DVM)
A member of Tree House’s executive team, the Director of Veterinary Services supervises and provides the highest quality medical care possible to animals served through Tree House in a humane and professional manner, and in accordance with the most progressive and evidence-based policies and procedures with a focus on: cross-departmental integration and effectiveness, maximizing live release outcomes and improving access to care. The Director of Veterinary Services provides guidance and compassionate leadership to department staff and veterinarians; and provides expertise and advice to the Tree House Board of Directors and executive team regarding veterinary medical policies, procedures, and issues as they relate to the achievement of organizational goals.
