The Veterinary Director, DVM plays an essential role within the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and performs all veterinary services for our animals. The Veterinary Director, DVM maximizes the use of clinic resources to ensure animal resident health and performs high volume spay and neuter surgeries. The Veterinary Director, DVM provides medical care as well as humane care and treatment to all animals in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. The Veterinary Director works together with the behavior and foster team and provides support to staff and foster families on best practice medical interventions. This position may act in the capacity of an expert witness in court cases. This position is based in Arlington, Virginia.
