Veterinary Intake Coordinator
As a leader in the medical department, the Veterinary Intake Coordinator supports nurses assigned to medical intake and triage. They will develop efficient and effective processes to provide comprehensive medical exams and core vaccines at intake, and to provide emergency care to sick or injured stray animals. Through training and coaching, the Intake Coordinator will develop the skill set and confidence of the veterinary technician and nursing staff and provide quality assurance for medical processes.
Shelter Operations Manager
The successful candidate for the Shelter Operations Manager position is a compassionate individual who will oversee day-to-day shelter operations, independently manage staff and volunteers, ensure that shelter animals receive proper and humane care, review veterinary invoices, maintain facilities and equipment, interact with employees, volunteers and the public.
Title: Veterinary Technician – Surgery Center Position Summary: Under the direction of the Shelter Veterinarian, join us as we grow our high volume spay/neuter surgery center to help our community with affordable alteration and community cat program. Assists in the provision of medical and surgical care of the animals in the shelter and for the public. Administers medications and vaccines, assists with surgery, performs basic laboratory tests, and euthanasia. Works well independently but as part of a team to ensure timely, quality medical care for all animals in the shelter. Supervisor: Medical Manager
Medical Department Manager
Title: Medical Department Manager Position Summary: The Medical Department Manager oversees the medical teams in the Medical Center and Shelter Medical Department and works collaboratively with department managers and veterinarians to meet the medical needs of the animals in care of the ARL. The position is responsible for ensuring the medical team performs its duties in a manner that maximizes the likelihood of positive outcomes for animals in our care and minimizes their length of stay.
