Combination Spay/Neuter and Shelter Veterinarian Position
SNIP is a small, nonprofit low-cost spay and neuter clinic and Florence Area Humane Society (FAHS) is a nonprofit animal rescue group and both are located in Florence, South Carolina. We are partnering to hire a full-time vet that will spend one half of the work week at SNIP performing spay and neuter surgeries and one half of the work week at FAHS as the shelter veterinarian overseeing care of the animals (a nonsurgical shelter position). The veterinarian will be an employee of SNIP and this shared job is for a standard 40-hour work week with some flexibility on the schedule and no on-call rotation. SNIP is seeking an energetic, positive, compassionate, veterinarian with the ability to perform high-volume, high-quality spay and neuter surgeries for two days per week (The clinic surgery schedule is Monday through Thursday). FAHS is interested in someone who wants to be part of an inventive and supportive team who is passionate about saving lives and caring for the approximately 2,000 animals they care for yearly.
Veterinarian (Part Time)

This is a part-time shelter veterinarian position at Animal Care & Control. The primary purposes of this position are to examine and triage animals entering the facility, develop and oversee appropriate treatment plans for animals requiring emergency or ongoing medical care, develop and oversee appropriate behavior plans for animals, monitor the health and care of animals housed at the shelter, and act the capacity of expert witness as needed. This position requires medical/behavioral knowledge of animals including domestic, agricultural and exotic. The is a part-time position with the need for on-call availability when special circumstances arise.
LVT- Spay/Neuter Clinic
We are seeking an experienced New York State Licensed Veterinary Technician, with two years of experience in a clinic setting. The successful candidate is responsible for daily care of all surgical patients at our spay and neuter clinic, assisting doctors and veterinary assistants with pre-, peri- and post-operative care of patients, general cleaning and training others to utilize our patient care protocols. Hours: 7:15- 5:45 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. No weekends or On call. Pay: $18.50-$20 per hour based on experience We value work life balance!
