JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Shelter Manager, the Veterinary Assistant provides administrative and medical assistance to the Roice-Hurst Humane Society (“RHHS”) vet care team. This role is the first point of contact for any member of the public receiving veterinary care on their pet. Additionally, this position supports the vet care team by providing routine medical and animal care for shelter pets.

The Executive Director is responsible for managing and developing the organization, the oversight, program development, an accountability for best practices over all operational areas of a full service animal shelter, including intake, behavior, animal care, foster care, adoptions and partnerships with other animal welfare organizations to provide the necessary infrastructure to achieve HSRC'S mission.
