We are adding a CVT to our team! The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon is a nationally recognized nonprofit spay/neuter program and we operate a state-of-the-art clinic in Portland, Oregon. FCCO is dedicated to high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter services for feral and outdoor stray cats and we care for 7,000 cats each year. We value respect, teamwork, reliable work-life balance, curiosity, and hard work. As a team member you will utilize your highest and best skills as you make a direct difference in the lives of cats and the people who look after them. All shifts are day shifts. A member of Tree House’s executive team, the Director of Veterinary Services supervises and provides the highest quality medical care possible to animals served through Tree House in a humane and professional manner, and in accordance with the most progressive and evidence-based policies and procedures with a focus on: cross-departmental integration and effectiveness, maximizing live release outcomes and improving access to care. The Director of Veterinary Services provides guidance and compassionate leadership to department staff and veterinarians; and provides expertise and advice to the Tree House Board of Directors and executive team regarding veterinary medical policies, procedures, and issues as they relate to the achievement of organizational goals.
