Manager, Community Programs
The role of the Community Programs Manager is someone who is passionate about helping both people and animals, as well as someone who can effectively organize people towards a common goal: stabilizing and reducing the community cat population.
The Veterinary Technician is a trained veterinary professional who will work closely with the Veterinarians, Associate Director, Veterinary Operations and other colleagues providing top-notch veterinary care.
Director of Medical Operations
Kauai Humane Society is looking for a self-motivated veterinarian skilled in managing a diverse team of professionals and providing high quality medical care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must demonstrate an aptitude in shelter medicine and surgical proficiency. The position provides prompt and quality veterinary services to all animals within KHS’s care and at public clinics. The Director of Medical Operations will act as lead shelter veterinarian and provide direct oversight to shelter medical operations and medical staffing, as well as establish relationships within the veterinary community. This position reports to the Executive Director. This position comes with benefits including health insurance and a 401K. The schedule is 4-day, ten hour shifts so you can enjoy the beautiful island of Kaua’i. Spay/Neuter Center Veterinarian

Events and Community Outreach Coordinator
The Events and Community Outreach Coordinator will plan, coordinate and execute both small- and large-scale events, oversee fundraising activities for the organization and promote the organization within the community to ensure a broad base of funding resources. Responsibilities will include all aspects of events, from coordinating event opportunities, overseeing onsite setup and breakdown, evaluation of potential animals to take to events, securing volunteer and staff attendance, to measurement and evaluating success following each event. This position offers flexible hours and the ability to work remotely at times.
