The Virginia Beach SPCA is seeking a Director of Shelter Operations to guide a dynamic, diverse team of animal welfare professionals in fulfilling our vision of ending animal homelessness in our community. Your deep knowledge of animal behavior and health will be used as you ensure the health, safety and enrichment of a large population of domestic animals including dogs, cats, and small animals. You will develop, teach and implement critical SOPs to ensure the health and safety of animals and humans. Your commitment to servant leadership will allow you to mentor and grow your team. As a member of the Executive Team, you will participate in and contribute to organizational strategic planning, the development of internal policies and processes, and the learning and implementation of best practices in animal welfare. You will help guide strategic change and growth, and use your strong communication skills to represent the VBSPCA in public to advance our mission of creating a more compassionate community through education and collaboration. Salary Range is $55,000 to $75,000 a year including group health, dental and vision benefits, 403(b) retirement savings plan, employee discounts for personal animal care in our veterinary clinic, and employee discounts for our retail shop and adoptions. Dog Program Coordinator
Lead and manage dog program volunteers and foster homes, build the program and foster home base. Manage all aspects of recruitment , training, intake from shelters, adoption program. Review health and welfare of dogs in care.
Director of Finance

Veterinary Technician Assistant- Full Time
During regular clinic work, responsible for daily care of all surgical patients, assisting doctors and veterinary assistants with pre/post-operative care of patients and will assist the veterinarian during surgery.
