The Animal Services Representative is responsible for the front-desk customer service experience at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. This is a full-time position with weekend, holiday and evening shifts. This position provides resources and information regarding owner surrenders, return to owners, wildlife issues, and general questions from the public. This position will also have the opportunity to cross train and work in Shelter Operations (Adoptions, Behavior, Animal Care) working hands on with the animals. Registered Veterinary Technician
As a Registered Veterinary Technician on our Clinic Services team, you will be a leader on our staff, motivating and energizing the veterinary medical team to meet department goals. You will act as a mentor and coach, sharing your expertise with your fellow team members while completing the daily duties of preparation and recovery of animals admitted for surgery.
Clinic Services Practice Manager

Full Time Animal Care Attendant
Summary: The Animal Care Attendant (ACA) is a vital member of the MAR team who provides compassionate and attentive care of all the animals under the shelter’s care. The ACA maintains a clean and healthy environment for both the animals and the public. The ACA is also critical in assisting both staff and members of the public by facilitating adoption meets and placements, processing and performing intake assessments and exams for newly arrived animals, and other duties as assigned.
Veterinary Medical Supervisor
As the region’s largest open-admission shelter, ACCT Philly’s medical program depends on skilled individuals to provide the highest level of care for its animals. The Medical Supervisor is one of the primary positions responsible for monitoring, directing, and administering medical services and treatments to the shelter’s many animals. This position works with the Medical Manager and in concert with a team of medical nurses, veterinarians, managers and staff to ensure timely and humane care for thousands of animals every year of various species, stages of health, and dispositions in both the clinic and the shelter setting.
Animal Care Technician (Full Time)
The Animal Care Technician plays an essential role within the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and works one-on-one with animals. The Animal Care Technician performs routine animal care, facility cleaning, customer service, updating and maintaining animal records, administering injections/medications, sterilizing equipment and performing euthanasia when necessary. Director of Clinic Services
The Director of Clinic Services is a member of the leadership team, working closely with the COO to contribute to HSC as it provides accessible and high-quality veterinary care to under-served communities in Charlotte working in-line with HSC annual budget and in cooperation with other agency programs and departments. The Director organizes, plans, manages, and oversees all aspects of the Clinic Services operation ensuring productivity, licensing, regulatory compliance, quality of care, equipment maintenance, and strategic goals are met in the state-of the-art, spay neuter and wellness clinic.
Adoptions & Matchmaking Counselor
The Adoptions & Matchmaking Counselor assists with all aspects of the adoption program for the League focusing on counseling the public on pet ownership to inspire a more humane community. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast paced, busy environment and finds working with people as enjoyable as with animals.
The Volunteer Coordinator leads the volunteer program – including recruitment, onboarding, and training – and serves as the primary point of contact for volunteers and the staff they support. This position plays a crucial role in promoting and representing the League in the community and ensuring that community members who volunteer with the League feel valued and successful in their roles.
