Certified Veterinary Technician

Willamette Animal Guild (WAG) is a 501c3 nonprofit seeking a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our low-cost, high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter (HQHV) team. WAG’s surgical team works 4 days a week, 10 hours max. per day. WAG’s S/N clinic is a fast-paced environment averaging 5,000 surgeries per year. We are seeking a dynamic, friendly and self-starting team member to join our community clinic (32+ hours per week, Tuesday-Friday). .
You will work closely with the Shelter Medicine Team to provide excellent medical care to the animals that enter our shelter. Collaboration with the Chief Veterinarian and Shelter Medicine team is essential to assess, create, maintain, improve and implement effective protocols for preventive care, treatment, population management, and operational processes. You will perform high-quality, high-volume surgical procedures and develop ongoing treatment plans. We will count on you to ensure compliance with all laws regarding the practice of veterinary medicine and animal welfare.
