Lead Veterinary Surgeon High Volume Spay/Neuter Clinic - 3 days Weekly

This is a 3 day a week position has minimal client contact, follows quality medical protocol. The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced high-volume spay neuter vet who loves surgery and is passionate about providing sterilization surgery for cats and dogs to reduce the overpopulation of homeless animals. POA SPAY!'s clinic environment is fast-paced, upbeat, flexible and progressive. POA SPAY! is a high volume/low cost spay neuter clinic located in East Hartford, CT. Open since January 2017, we have sterilized over 14,000 cats and dogs. We offer spay/neuter surgeries to the public as well as local rescue organizations.

In addition, the Veterinarian will develop, maintain and expand our Community Medicine outreach programs, working with the local communities to evaluate needs and opportunities. He/She is also fiscally responsible for the complete medical budget.
The Surgery Veterinarian is a trained and licensed veterinarian responsible for performing mainly spay/neuter surgeries in a high-quality, high volume spay/neuter clinic and shelter setting. The Surgery Veterinarian may also be responsible for other surgeries that arise in a shelter setting.
