Events and Community Outreach Coordinator
The Events and Community Outreach Coordinator will plan, coordinate and execute both small- and large-scale events, oversee fundraising activities for the organization and promote the organization within the community to ensure a broad base of funding resources. Responsibilities will include all aspects of events, from coordinating event opportunities, overseeing onsite setup and breakdown, evaluation of potential animals to take to events, securing volunteer and staff attendance, to measurement and evaluating success following each event. This position offers flexible hours and the ability to work remotely at times.

It's a plus if you're a veterinary assistant or technician! Your skills are really valuable to us! Comfortable with giving vaccinations, understanding medication dosages, and providing treatments such as subQ fluids. This is a position that requires weekend and holiday availability. Because the animals rely on you, and because we rely on you too, you may need to work a flexible schedule. Animal care is not just Mon-Fri! It's a different schedule, but animals cannot take care of themselves and they love the company! Typical hours are 8 to 5.
Combination Spay/Neuter and Shelter Veterinarian Position
SNIP is a small, nonprofit low-cost spay and neuter clinic and Florence Area Humane Society (FAHS) is a nonprofit animal rescue group and both are located in Florence, South Carolina. We are partnering to hire a full-time vet that will spend one half of the work week at SNIP performing spay and neuter surgeries and one half of the work week at FAHS as the shelter veterinarian overseeing care of the animals (a nonsurgical shelter position). The veterinarian will be an employee of SNIP and this shared job is for a standard 40-hour work week with some flexibility on the schedule and no on-call rotation. SNIP is seeking an energetic, positive, compassionate, veterinarian with the ability to perform high-volume, high-quality spay and neuter surgeries for two days per week (The clinic surgery schedule is Monday through Thursday). FAHS is interested in someone who wants to be part of an inventive and supportive team who is passionate about saving lives and caring for the approximately 2,000 animals they care for yearly.
