Adoptions & Matchmaking Counselor
The Adoptions & Matchmaking Counselor assists with all aspects of the adoption program for the League focusing on counseling the public on pet ownership to inspire a more humane community. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast paced, busy environment and finds working with people as enjoyable as with animals.
The Volunteer Coordinator leads the volunteer program – including recruitment, onboarding, and training – and serves as the primary point of contact for volunteers and the staff they support. This position plays a crucial role in promoting and representing the League in the community and ensuring that community members who volunteer with the League feel valued and successful in their roles.
Animal Care Technician (Full Time)
The Animal Care Technician plays an essential role within the Animal Welfare League of Arlington and works one-on-one with animals. The Animal Care Technician performs routine animal care, facility cleaning, customer service, updating and maintaining animal records, administering injections/medications, sterilizing equipment and performing euthanasia when necessary.
