Chief Shelter Veterinarian
Denver Animal Protection has an opening for a Chief Shelter Veterinarian. This position will serve as the primary veterinarian surgeon and will oversee shelter management and operations. The veterinary clinic at DAP is one of the two shelter clinics (and the only municipal shelter) in Colorado that is American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited. We see a variety of patients, including dogs, cats, small mammals, farm animals, fish, poultry, and reptiles. We are well equipped with dental radiographs, digital radiographs, oxygen cage, ultrasound, and cautery.

The Dumb Friends League is currently hiring a Veterinary Receptionist to join the League’s Veterinary Hospital team! The League’s Veterinary Hospital team members will work at either the Yuma Street (Central Denver) or CSU Spur (North Denver) location. Both locations provide access to high quality veterinary urgent care for under-served populations in our community. Purpose of Position: Provide exceptional customer service to our patrons, ensuring a smooth and orderly flow of patients through the hospital.
