Provides daily clinical supervision of veterinary assistants before, during, and after surgery. Manages low-cost vaccination services and other clinic services.

CC4C is a volunteer, non-profit cat rescue organization in Contra Costa County that offers abandoned and homeless cats medical rehabilitation, spay and neuter services, foster care, and adoption. Spay/Neuter Center Veterinarian
Providing high level medical care and sterilization procedures to our patients in accordance with established policy and procedure. Supervises and performs healthcare according to Hawaiian Humane procedures to ensure sheltered animals are receiving safe, competent and humane care and are provided with quality health care and surgical procedures at all times.
Veterinarians are important team members and leaders in our fast-paced and mission-focused shelter. Primary responsibilities include general examinations, alteration surgeries, soft tissue surgeries, dentistry, animal public health, student teaching, and teamwork. The Shelter Veterinarian will work up and/or direct internal medicine, emergency, and surgical cases.
