This position will work in coordination with our veterinary team to complete spay/neuter surgeries for shelter and publicly owned pets through our low-cost HQHVSN clinic, as well as contributing to the exceptional veterinary care our shelter pets receive. The APF provides a full-spectrum of diagnostics and treatments for in-shelter pets to ensure they are happy and healthy prior to going home with their adoptive families. The clinic follows veterinary guidelines set out by ASPCA in order to practice the most efficient and high quality medicine for a high volume spay and neuter clinics. HQHVSN training will be made available to the successful candidate. Opportunities for additional general surgical procedures and dental surgery is available for interested candidates. The hours for this position can range anywhere from 8-25 hours per week. APF offers 401K with match, PTO and sick time. Will also pay for License and/or DEA fees while employed. Pay will range from $55-$60 an hour based on previous experience.
