My Kids Have Paws Veterinary Clinic is a mission-based veterinary clinic located in Dalton, GA, 30 minutes from Chattanooga and 80 miles from Atlanta. Our mission is to help reduce the euthanasia rate in our region (northwest GA) by providing compassionate, affordable care. We focus on spays/neuters, affordable medical care (including most basic surgeries), and working with our large network of rescues/animal shelters in our region. We have in-house blood work, x rays, ultrasound, and other diagnostics. Our services include dentals, soft tissue surgery, general exams, emergencies, and basic exotic exams/surgery. We also see small farm animals in the clinic. Before COVID, we traveled to counties within an hour of the clinic to help provide spay/neuter services to those under-served areas. We hope to return to traveling soon.

The role of the Community Programs Assistant is to work in all operational and promotional aspects of community programs including Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and Cats at Work (CAW). Director of Medical Operations
Kauai Humane Society is looking for a self-motivated veterinarian skilled in managing a diverse team of professionals and providing high quality medical care in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must demonstrate an aptitude in shelter medicine and surgical proficiency. The position provides prompt and quality veterinary services to all animals within KHS’s care and at public clinics. The Director of Medical Operations will act as lead shelter veterinarian and provide direct oversight to shelter medical operations and medical staffing, as well as establish relationships within the veterinary community. Events and Community Outreach Coordinator
The Events and Community Outreach Coordinator will plan, coordinate and execute both small- and large-scale events, oversee fundraising activities for the organization and promote the organization within the community to ensure a broad base of funding resources. Responsibilities will include all aspects of events, from coordinating event opportunities, overseeing onsite setup and breakdown, evaluation of potential animals to take to events, securing volunteer and staff attendance, to measurement and evaluating success following each event. This position offers flexible hours and the ability to work remotely at times.
