Community Medicine Veterinarian
This is a full-time position for a veterinarian passionate about medicine and surgery for pets in need in the Chicago metro area. The Community Medicine Veterinarian will divide their time between The Anti-Cruelty Society and our partner shelters to provide medical and surgical services to the animals in the clinic, shelter, and community programs operated by each partner organization. The Community Medicine Veterinarian works closely with Medical Directors, Directors of Operation, Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and reports directly to the Manager of Community Medicine to ensure Best Care for all Chicago animals within each organization. Veterinarian, Field Services - Harmony Equine Center
Purpose of Position: Provide veterinary care for animal victims of cruelty and neglect, as needed. This is a unique position that supports field services and cruelty investigations, and otherwise provides veterinary care for equine and companion animals sheltered by the League. Working in partnership with multiple programs, you will fight animal cruelty, prevent, and alleviate suffering, help homeless pets, and collaborate with our veterinary community.
