The primary work of this position involves performing spay/neuter surgeries (majority feline) at our clinic for shelter animals and occasional exams and consults, with the hope of expanding to the public in the future to provide low or no cost spay/neuter and other medical services for our community. We focus on spaying and neutering pets from our shelter, as well as other rescues, local municipal shelter, and doing TNR for community cats.

Our clinic model has been providing services MASH style, via pop up clinics around our county. With our new building location we will be primarily stationary but will still offer occasional clinics in our rural areas and local reservations. Our clinic location also provides the medical care for all of the animals in our foster program.
