We are a cat hospital owned by Community Concern for Cats, Inc. (CC4C). CC4C is a volunteer, non-profit cat rescue organization in Contra Costa County that offers abandoned and homeless cats medical rehabilitation, spay and neuter services, foster care, and adoption. We also work to reduce the overpopulation of feral cats through an effective trap-neuter-return program, and when possible, kittens and cats are fostered, socialized, and are adopted out to loving homes through our weekly adopt
Veterinary Clinic Manager
The Veterinary Clinic Manager is responsible for providing leadership for the clinic, managing veterinary support staff and assuring the optimization of clinic operations. The Veterinary Clinic Manager is also responsible for ensuring the highest quality of customer service is delivered by promoting a team-oriented work environment that encourages peer discussion and constructive communication. In partnership with the Director of Operations and Veterinarian(s) in Charge, the Veterinary Clinic Manager is responsible for the medical and financial performance of the clinic and meeting budget expectations, while maintaining a high standard of quality care. In addition, the Veterinary Clinic Manager is responsible for directing staff and the overall management of the clinic.

Responsible for daily care of all surgical patients, ensuring all clinic staff members are adhering to proper pre-, peri-and post-operative care of patients. During designated training sessions, responsible for training participants in all aspects of patient care and efficient/safe clinic practices, maintaining a professional and friendly manner at all times.
Associate Veterinarian including HQHV SN
The associate veterinarian plays a vital part in supporting the community, especially for those clients and animals who may not have another accessible option for care. As an organization, we offer financial assistance to clients in need as well as partner with outside funding groups to decrease as much as the financial burden as possible. The associate veterinarian may spend up to 30% of their time based on organizational needs between shelter animal care and at the HQHV spay/neuter clinics.
