Veterinarian for spay/neuter community clinic
Recently built in Tallahassee, Tally Spay was founded by the Animal Shelter Foundation (ASF), a non-profit organization with a mission to help the homeless animals in the community and to reduce pet overpopulation. Tally Spay offers an exciting opportunity for the veterinarian who wants to be a leader in effecting change for our communities' underserved dogs and cats. We work to reduce shelter intake and euthanasia by providing services to pet owners, shelters, rescue groups, and community cat caregivers. Our approach to spay/neuter surgeries follows the guidelines of the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance - a proven leader in these surgeries. Our staff is trained in this method and also brings in a wealth of experience from other sectors of veterinarian services. Our 4,100 square foot new high-quality, high volume, and low cost clinic is based on the gold standard ASPCA® Spay/Neuter Alliance model. ASF is seeking an experienced surgeon, confident, and caring veterinarian to join our medical team. If you want to make a profound impact while enjoying a healthy work/life balance, we invite you to join our mission.
A Shelter Veterinarian to provide the shelter animals with spay and neuter surgeries.
As the only organization providing animal control and sheltering services to the City of Philadelphia, no two days at ACCT Philly are the same. An open admissions shelter and founding member of the Philadelphia No Kill Coalition, ACCT works with a wide network of stakeholders to support people and pets in Philadelphia. Our medical team, anchored by a cohort of staff and contract veterinarians, provides critical support to some of Philadelphia’s most vulnerable animals. The staff veterinarian helps to ensure that ACCT’s animals are provided with all aspects of veterinary care including physical exams, diagnostic tests, and surgical procedures.
