Dr. Hopkins will provide an overview of mechanisms, clinical presentations, treatment, diagnostic testing, and considerations for approaching decontamination and unknown toxic exposures.

Dr. Jennifer Hopkins is a toxicologist and has been a consulting veterinarian at the ASPCA APCC since 2021. Before joining the ASPCA, she worked in food animal welfare and regulation with the State of Iowa Department of Agriculture and was in clinical practice in Chicago, IL. She obtained her veterinary degree from Cornell University. She is passionate about helping poisoned pets and educating her colleagues in up-to-date treatment practices.
