Mississippi Spay & Neuter is growing and we are looking for a skilled, compassionate part-time veterinarian to add to our team! MS SPAN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the suffering, homelessness and unnecessary euthanasia of cats and dogs in Central Mississippi by providing high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter and wellness services. We envision a world where every companion animal has a loving home and family.

SUMMARY Responsible for medical care provided to clinic patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. Supervise and provide highest quality medical care possible to patients served through our spay/neuter and wellness services in a humane and professional manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Perform 24+ feline spay/neuter surgeries or 16+ canine spay/neuter surgeries in 5-6 hour time frame (8:30am-3:30pm) twice weekly
-Provide basic exams and wellness services for cats and dogs one day per week, 8:30am-3:30pm.
