Full and Part time Veterinarians Wanted
Shelter Outreach Services (SOS) of Ohio is a non-profit veterinary service that provides care to animal shelters, rescue organizations, and the general public.
Job Relationships: Reports to Executive Director and Shelter Operations Director; provides supervision for all veterinary technicians and veterinary volunteers Job Requirements: • Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) • Louisiana State Veterinary License • DEA License • Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) License • USDA National Veterinary Accreditation Certification • Two or more years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a veterinary clinic, hospital, and/or animal shelter. Shelter Medicine experience is preferred. • Must promote and support the overall mission and strategic plan for the organization
Part time (10-20hrs/week) Veterinarian to perform spay/neuter surgeries on cats and dogs, with the option to work vaccine clinics if desired
