The League’s Healthy Pet Team provides high quality, high volume spay/neuter services for owned pets and community cats at our stationary clinic on Yuma Street and high-volume community vaccination clinics within our priority service neighborhoods. As a Veterinary Technician on this team, you’ll be a part of a highly skilled and fast-moving team managing surgery prep and recovery or supporting high volume drive through vaccination clinics in the community. The Dumb Friends League is expanding access to urgent care services for pets of families who can’t afford care elsewhere. In early 2022, the League will be opening a second veterinary hospital at the CSU Spur campus, just north of downtown Denver, as part of the redevelopment of the National Western Center. On the Spur campus, the veterinary hospital will incorporate learning opportunities for the public, through our surgery and dental suites, along with an exam room. The Dumb Friends League Veterinary Hospital offers our veterinary technicians a competitive wage starting at $20/hour, and starting at $21/hour for Certified Veterinary Technicians.
