This per diem position has minimal client contact, follows quality medical protocol, and comes with a trained and capable support team of surgical technicians. We are looking for a Doctor that would be able to be called and come in incase there is ever a change in our schedule last minute. Doctors must have the ability and comfort to tackle cryptorchids (inguinal and abdominal), pyometra surgery, and pregnant surgeries.

The Part-Time Shelter Veterinarian (Exempt Position: 24 hours/week) will provide high-quality medical care and surgical care to our shelter animals and community-owned pets. The Shelter Veterinarian will provide variety of services within our shelter medicine & surgery department, low-cost spay and neuter program, and vaccine clinic program. The position reports directly to the Veterinary Director and works closely with veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, shelter staff, volunteers, and pet owners/adopters to support our mission and make a lasting impact on our community.
