Looking for a veterinarian who cares deeply about rescues and affordable care to join our small team and pioneer a wellness program. We work with 56 different pet rescues in the South Central Wisconsin area and see a wide variety of cases for both institutional and private clients. If you're just starting out, receive mentoring from our co-founder and surgeon, Dr. Meghan Schuh (better known for being one of the best spay/neuter surgeons in the Midwest). If you're an experienced practitioner, receive the independence to shape the program the way you want it. Ability to perform Dentals and write CVIs are a plus.Precision Veterinary was founded to test out the theory that it would actually be possible to provide self-sustaining affordable veterinary care. No grants, no 501c3 benefits, just a well-organized clinic serving shelters, rescues, and anybody else who cares about their pet's well-being and can find our phone number. In the past year we've completed over 5000 surgeries and stabilized financially, so we are hoping to expand further into a wider range of wellness related services this year. If the model works, we'd love to replicate it across the country, wherever demographics make sense, in hopes of increasing access to care in a sustainable way and changing the model for how care is delivered on the whole. So, in effect, you will be helping to design what will hopefully become a model for providing care for animals in need on a much broader scale (while still making a livable wage).Hours: M-F 8am-5pmCompensation: $65,000-$85,000, comprehensive benefits available
