Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Collaborate and work with our team of highly skilled veterinarians in areas of shelter medicine, HQHV spay/neuter, TNR, emergency procedures and dentals, or provide wellness services to the owned animals in our community.
- Work out of our newly renovated Surgery Center and/or Wellness Clinic in Colorado Springs or use your skills to help fulfill the need in our more rural Pueblo locations.
- Willingness to travel and work in our Pueblo Shelter location and/or our Pueblo Wellness Clinic a plus.

Schedule Requirements
Flexible schedule based on organizational needs and your availability. Eight-hour wellness shifts and ten-hour shelter/surgical shifts available depending on your skill level and interest. Positions available for full-time, part-time, and/or relief shifts at both our Colorado Springs and Pueblo locations.
Education/Experience Necessary
- Graduated from an accredited veterinary medical college – DVM or equivalent.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Colorado.
- Experience in high volume spay/neuter clinic and/or post graduate surgical training a plus.
- Demonstrated aptitude in clinical medicine and surgery.
- Experience in animal welfare and shelter operations a plus.
- Demonstrated success in working with a diverse team of professionals, skilled in managing varied relationships and successful at facilitating collaboration and cooperation.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
