- Salary: $125,000-$150,000 Annually
- Up to $ 25,000 Sign-on Bonus
- Up to $ 10,000 for eligible Moving Expenses
- Full-Time @ 4 days per week (10 hrs per day)

SNIP WV is located in Morgantown, West Virginia, and will be the first high volume spay neuter clinic in the north central West Virginia area. We will serve clients in north central West Virginia as well as the surrounding areas of Pennsylvania and Maryland. This clinic is desperately needed so that spay/neuter is more accessible to everyone. With the addition of this clinic in our community, more animals will get spayed or neutered ensuring a decrease in the influx of animals to our local shelters and rescue groups every year.
Responsibilities of the veterinarian will include:

Pre-surgical physical examinations and administering of pre-surgical drugs

Perform high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter surgeries

Accurate record keeping

Supervision of surgical staff and vet assistants

Adherence to WV Vet Board and AVMA standards
Requirements:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.

Must have or obtain a West Virginia license to practice veterinary medicine.

Candidates must have a strong work ethic and a commitment to reducing companion and feral animal overpopulation while maintaining the highest standards possible in the field.

Professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.

The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members.

Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.

Compassionate team player who can uphold a great reputation with clients.

A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Proficiency in high volume spay and neuter surgeries is a plus.

An emphasis on shelter medicine would be an asset in this position.
