Feline URI Handouts for Fosters & Adopters
Feline URI is similar to the common cold in humans—and, like the common cold, can usually be resolved with supportive care and rest.
Working with the ASPCA’s Los Angeles foster team, we’ve created informational handouts in English and Spanish to guide foster parents and adopters of cats who may develop the illness. The handouts are customizable so you can insert the name and logo of your shelter as well as any specific information.
Feline URI is caused by a virus, but stressful environments and situations can also factor in. Most cases should resolve within 7 to 14 days with proper care in a quiet, calm place. The handouts explain what to watch for and the right steps to take.
Este documentos están listos para descargar en Ingles y Español para compartir con equipo y comunidad.
