Dog Transport Pre-Load Exams
Before relocation, all dogs should be medically cleared by a veterinarian. Since their condition could change between being cleared and transport day, we recommend a final, quick pre-load exam by the handler before hitting the road.
We suggest a quick assessment of the following:
- Behavior
- Gait
- Eyes
- Nose
- Ears
- Body
- Tail
- Underside
Review the Dog Pre-load Exam video for the key elements to watch for, and download and print the accompanying cheat sheet for easy reference on transport day.
