Though just about any animal can benefit from Adoption Ambassadors, some organizations choose special populations – while others leave the eligibility wide open.

Make sure you select animals who allow your Ambassadors to be successful, since you want them to be adopted from their foster homes and not return to the shelter!

Details to Consider

As you ponder your lineup, consider these questions:

• Dogs, cats, or both?
• Special needs animals (behavioral or medical)?
• Long-timers or other hard-to-place animals?
• Any animal available for adoption?
