Leah Backo

Communications Design Specialist Presenter

Leah holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan and has nearly ten years of experience in visual design and animal welfare. She served in shelter communications roles at Rescue Village and Dallas Animal Services and joined the ASPCA as the Communications Design Specialist in 2022, developing its brand identity and creating visual materials for programs nationwide. Leah spends her spare time training for marathons and volunteering for her local shelter.
