Veterinarian
Description
We are looking for either a HQHVSN veterinarian, a veterinarian who can perform various surgeries and see appointments, or a relatively new vet who is looking for training. However, we only want people who have the same core principles we have at the clinic - a true love for animals, rescue, and a goal to help this community reduce its euthanasia rate. We serve a very underserved area of northwest GA, and even though our clinic is not a non-profit, our mission follows the core ethics of non-profit. We are a very fast-paced, busy clinic, and we work with the majority of rescues and animal control organizations in this area. We have a clinic as well as a mobile clinic in order to serve the majority of counties in the northwest region. We offer low cost spay/neuter, low cost vaccines, and low cost appointments. We provide diagnostics (in-house bloodwork, xrays, ultrasound, urinalysis, etc) and we offer dentistry (no dental xrays, but we do have a high speed drill). We are also the only veterinary clinic in the general area that sees some exotics. We pride ourselves on educating the public about diseases, prevention, spaying/neutering, overpopulation, and all the other aspects that can help keep pets healthy and in the home while reducing the burden on the overflowing shelters. We work long, hard days, but we are having a very positive impact in the area. We would love to have another veterinarian to help grow the clinic.
