Support & Collaboration for Educational Institutions
Are you part of a university, school, or educational program that is looking for assistance with veterinary professional training? The ASPCA is here to help.
From consultations, mentoring, programmatic collaboration, and more, students and educational leaders can engage with ASPCA experts in Animal Welfare, Behavior, Community Medicine, Forensics, Humane Law Enforcement, Shelter Medicine, and Spay/Neuter (just to name a few!) to help develop veterinary-related training and professional development opportunities.
Here are some things the ASPCA can assist with:
- Consultation with a subject matter expert
- Speaker for student groups
- Guest lectures for a class
- Tours of ASPCA sites for student groups
- Shadowing opportunities at ASPCA sites
- One-on-one mentoring calls with ASPCA staff
- Curriculum development
- Collaboration opportunities
- Training opportunity (hands-on)
Please note that this isn’t a comprehensive list, so if you have an idea about another topic or training area, feel free to reach out to us and see how we can support you.
We know you have a lot on your plate and we’re here to support stronger collaborations in the veterinary field and help advance the training of future veterinary professionals. We invite students, student groups, faculty members, administrators, or any other related role to fill out our form. We look forward to working together and will respond to all inquiries. Our guidance and collaboration will be tailored based on needs and availability to make the most impact on your specific veterinary program or training area.
