Dr. Ashley, DVM
Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dr. Ashley earned undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Biology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Colorado State University. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Ashley moved to Tennessee, where she worked in both small animal emergency medicine and general practice before joining the ASPCA in the summer of 2025. Outside of work, Dr. Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and their lively household of animals. Their family includes Artemisaurus Rex, a Great Dane; Dogtor Zoidberg, a Standard Poodle; Bella, a small mixed-breed dog; King Louie, a Flemish Giant rabbit; and Bun Bun, a New Zealand rabbit. Whether she's caring for patients or spending time with her own pets, her passion for animals is at the heart of everything she does.
