High-Volume Spay/Neuter Veterinarian (Part-Time, Contract)
📍 Bend, Oregon
We are seeking an efficient, confident surgeon to support our high-volume spay/neuter clinics serving underserved communities in Central Oregon.
This is a mission-driven, part-time opportunity ideal for veterinarians looking for supplemental income, meaningful impact work, or additional surgical experience.
What You’ll Do:
• Perform approximately 13 canine and 20 feline sterilization surgeries per clinic day (mixed sex)
• Work in a high-efficiency setting with continuous patient flow
• Dedicated, experienced support staff handle prep, anesthesia, and turnover — your focus is surgery
• Volunteer recovery team manages post-op care
Schedule:
• One weekend per month (Friday–Sunday)
• Flexible — not required every month, but consistency is highly valued
Compensation:
• 1099 contract position
• No benefits
• Compensation reflects the nonprofit, mission-driven nature of this work
