Description
- Identify, cultivate, and secure new major gift prospects through thoughtful relationship-building.
- Develop and implement strategies to inspire donors to deepen their commitment to HSGKC’s mission.
- Create tailored proposals and donor engagement opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
- Develop and implement a robust planned giving strategy to enable donors to ensure their funds are left to a mission they trust and support.
- Works in conjunction with the CEO to identify and prioritize new initiatives,
needs, and opportunities that could benefit from development efforts. - Manage and grow a portfolio of current major donors, ensuring meaningful, personalized touchpoints.
- Lead stewardship efforts, including impact reporting, recognition opportunities, and donor events.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major donors, providing transparency and accountability.
- Partner with the CEO and Board to design and execute strategies that expand the donor base and elevate giving levels.
- Work closely with the development team on donor communications, campaigns, and events.
- Track and evaluate donor activity using CRM systems to ensure effective cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship practices.
- Maintains files on grants and monitors paperwork and reporting connected with grant-funded programs.
- Researches public and private grant agencies, governmental agencies, and private foundations to identify sources of funding.
