We are seeking a compassionate, mission-driven veterinarian dedicated to ending pet overpopulation and keeping cats, dogs, and community cats healthy and in their homes through accessible, high-quality care.
Full-Time: Warren or Flint
Part-Time (Non-Surgery): Auburn Hills or Southwest Detroit
Choice of working at one or multiple locations.
Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time)
- 4-day work week

- Salary: $110,000–$120,000 (dependent on experience)

The Role
- High-quality, high-volume spay/neuter and access-to-care medicine
- Alternating surgery and primary care days
- TNR performed year-round
- Typical experienced surgeon volume: ~10 dogs / 25+ cats per day. Support and mentorship for developing HQHVSN surgical skills, with flexibility to choose the training platform that works best for you.
- Two to three surgeons per shift
Requirements
- DVM degree
- Valid Michigan veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and staff
- Ability to perform spay/neuter and soft tissue surgery (training available)
- Commitment to access-to-care and shelter medicine philosophy
