Renee Tourdot, DVM, DABT is a Toxicologist with the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center. She earned her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009 and went on to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Coral Springs Animal Hospital in Coral Springs, FL. Dr. Tourdot practiced emergency medicine and surgery at Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center before starting with the APCC in 2015. In 2019, she became a diplomat of the American Board of Toxicology. Dr. Tourdot works from her home in southern Wisconsin, where she lives with her husband, 2 dogs, and a trio of domestic shorthairs. In her spare time, she volunteers in community gardens and runs a sewing blog.
