The webinar will touch on one of the most common toxic plants for cats, the lily. Dr. Paul will discuss the mechanism of action and treatment protocols for different types of lily ingestions.
Participants will also leave understanding APCC protocols and practices for NSAIDS, acetaminophen, garlic and onions, amphetamines, venlafaxine and other SSRIs, and permethrins.

Lisa Paul DVM, Consulting Veterinarian in Clinical Toxicology, joined the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center in 2017.
After graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, Dr. Paul spent 16 years in Colorado practicing a mixture of general small animal/exotic care and shelter and emergency medicine.
She then moved to Florida for three years of general practice and on to Kansas where she managed and worked in a busy ER clinic for a few years.
Dr. Paul shares her home with six cats and three parrots.
