Now in its 19th year, this year’s conference features a newly added Behavior track and a keynote address by Sheila Segurson, DVM, DACVB, veterinary behaviorist, and Director of Research at Maddie’s Fund. Save the Date
The conference program offers a wide range of workshops, including:
- Clinical cardiology on a budget
- Local anesthesia blocks (presentation and lab)
- Balancing medical and behavioral needs of shelter animals
- Emergency fostering

This program has been submitted, but not yet approved, for continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE approval. The ASPCA is also approved as a New York State sponsor of continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
The ASPCA is an approved provider of content that enhances professional competence and aligns with the 5 domains of the CAWA Exam specifications.
Accommodations
All attendees are responsible for making and paying for their own overnight accommodations including any incidental charges or other fees incurred during your stay. Ithaca offers a variety of housing and hotel options. Review the list of the accommodations where a special conference rate has been secured for attendees. There are limited rooms available at each location, so make your reservations early.
BeeBee Appel Scholarship Program
The ASPCA will be providing travel scholarships of $1000 each to select organizations. Applications are due by May 17, 2022. Get more information.
