We are seeking a Veterinary Technician that is proficient with skill pertaining to high volume spay/neuter, dental prophylaxis, and affordable veterinary care.
The ideal candidate must also be seasoned at:
Placing I.V. catheters Monitoring anesthesia/recovery Blood draws Vaccination protocols CPR techniques Proper animal restraint techniques and the ability to handle animals of all sizes Avimark veterinary software (preferred)
Other preferred skills and knowledge would include:
Drug Inventory experience Excellent communication skills Cal OSHA safety standards Ca VMB standards of care
The prospective employee must have: 1-2 years of general practice 1-2 years of dental experience 2 years of surgical experience
