Description
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, market, and execute indoor and outdoor veterinary vaccine clinics in underserved communities in the metro Denver area.
- Coordinate and oversee all logistics of vaccine clinic events, including but not limited to transporting supplies and setting up and breaking down canopies and shelters.
- Active participation in running the clinics, including registering clients, assisting in pet restraint, and checking clients out.
- Provide client education about vaccinations for their pets, and help direct clients to other services that may be identified during their visit.
- Administrative duties include, but are not limited to coordinating appointment schedules, pre and post event communication to staff and stakeholders, generating demographics reports, and reconciliation of end of day financials.
- Responsible for clinic specific training to both employees and volunteers.
- Oversight of staff and volunteer team, ensuring vaccine clinics are running smoothly and efficiently, and the team is working effectively. This includes adapting work plans due to unexpected situations (e.g. callouts, inclement weather).
- Ensure our community vaccine clinics provide exceptional client service to a diverse population.
- Serves as on-site management for de-escalation and client conflict resolution
- Maintain and stock vaccine clinic supplies, equipment, and vehicles.
- Participate in stocking and unstocking of League vehicle(s) before and after clinic events.
- Contribute to and lead initiatives to improve processes and procedures, including safety plans, client services, and event workflow.
- Partner with the veterinarian on-site, including coordinating emergency response for staff/volunteer injuries or pet vaccine reactions.
- Compensation: $22.50-$23.65 per hour (starting pay commensurate with market, experience, and equity)
