Lead veterinary position available in Vass, NC at an established Spay/Neuter Clinic that is in a leadership transition. The position for the Lead Veterinarian will be available January 2021. Our clinic has performed 80,000+ low cost surgeries in 13 years of operation. Our clinic works closely with a charitable board that owns and maintains the facility, and also fundraises for the clinic.
The position requires experience in high volume spay/neuter. The lead veterinarian will be required to supervise veterinary staff, and in collaboration with staff veterinarians, medical and surgical protocols. There is an experienced Hospital Administrator that will manage the day to day tasks, scheduling patients, working with assistance programs, staff scheduling, staff supervision, inventory ordering, etc. This position offers a four day work week and benefits.
The clinic works closely with NCSU-CVM with their externship program. The lead veterinarian, along with staff veterinarians, supervise the students while they are participating in our daily routine. The lead veterinarian will be required to be registered with the NCSU Veterinary School as the supervising veterinarian and provide an assessment of each student at the end of their stay.
Our clinic is located in Moore County, NC. It is an hour from Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and RDU airport. It is located within 10 minutes of Pinehurst/Southern Pines.
